T- 20:-
Twenty20 cricket is a form of cricket that was introduced in England in the year 2003, mainly with the aim of making the game more interesting and attracting more audience. Though it is similar to the traditional cricket game to quite an extent, there are certain differences as well. Most of these differences arise from changes in the rules and format of the game. We have given a brief description of the rules of T20 cricket in the following lines.
Twenty20 Cricket Rules
General Rules
The format of a Twenty20 match is quite similar to normal limited-overs match, only the number of overs for batting is just twenty, just as the name of the game suggests. The game is played between two teams, each of them having a single innings of 20 overs. In the context of Twenty20 cricket, there is a visual difference as well, though it is a pretty minor one. In T20, members of the batting team do not arrive from/retire to traditional dressing rooms. Rather, they have a bench, mainly a row of chairs, visibly in the playing arena, used for coming and going purposes.

Twenty20 Cricket Rules
General Rules
- In a single innings, each of the bowlers can bowl a maximum of only one-fifth of the total overs i.e. 4 overs in a total of 20 overs.
- If a bowler ever delivers a ball overstepping the popping crease, it is a no-ball. The batting team gets one run for the ball and the next delivery is a free hit. In other words, in the next ball, the batsmen can only be dismissed through a run out.
- If either of the umpires believes that a team is wasting time, he can award a five-run penalty, at his own discretion.
- In a normal T20 game, the interval lasts for 15 minutes. However, in a reduced-overs match, it can be cut to 10 minutes.
- If, and only if, each of the two teams has faced (or had the opportunity to face) five overs, will be a match deemed to have played.
- In each Twenty20 cricket match, one short-pitched ball is allowed per over.
- To calculate a team's net run rate, the average runs per over scored by that team is deducted from the average runs per over scored against it.

- At the most, five fielders can be on the leg side, at any given point of time.
- In the first six overs of a T20 game, there cannot be more than two fielders outside the 30-yard circle.
- There can be a maximum of five fielders outside the fielding circle, after the first six overs end.
- The fielding team has to start bowling its 20th over within 75 minutes. If it fails to do so, extra six runs will be added to the batting teams score, for every whole over bowled after the 75 minute-mark. In case the umpire believes that the batting team is wasting time, he may add more time to this

Batting tips
1st Batting Tip – Keep your eyes level, it’s been shown that having your eyes level helps speed up your reaction time, as it makes it easier for the brain to process the incoming information.
2nd Batting Tip – Your first movement should be from the shoulders towards the line of the ball. The rest of your body will follow naturally and will help ensure you get correctly inline with the ball.
3rd Batting Tip – Play the delivery based on its length, if it’s short; even if it’s in line with the wickets it should be fenced away to the boundary. The same principle applies with full deliveries and half volleys.
4th Batting Tip – One of the most important things is to watch the ball from bowlers hand in run up all the way to the bat. By watching the ball in the bowler’s hand you can see what the bowler may be trying to do with the ball. Try to identify which is the shiny side or rough side, so you can determine which way they may be trying to swing the ball. The same applies with spinners; but also make sure you closely watch the wrist movement to determine the type and direction of spin.
5th Batting Tip – When batting against spinners, try doing an initial ‘forward press’, making an initial half-step on to the front foot as the bowler bowls. This will give you good base to play from and help give you quicker feet.
6th Batting Tip – It is essential to maintain a solid base when batting and to be in a solid position when you play the ball. If you watch for example Brain Lara play a cover drive, he has a solid base from which he plays the stroke, he is perfectly balanced.

Cricket training
The game of Cricket has historically been known as "the gentleman's game. Cricketers are certainly the fittest athletes on the planet. Often it is remarked that Cricket is physically an easy game which requires one to stand on the field for most of the day and requires little running, jumping or strength.
However with the introduction of one day Cricket, the game has gone through major changes and the physical demands made on a cricketer's body has also increased dramatically. No longer can a batsman just continue to defend away for overs, he has to often use his strength to hit big sixes. The highly-developed levels of fielding in the modern times require a player to have strong shoulders and arms to make direct hits at the stumps. It requires a rigrous training to be a perfectionist in cricket.
You should train with weights use compound movements like squats over isolation movements Compound movements are best suited to build real overall strength that can be utilized on the field. Think of it, when you hit a six do you think you only use your arms to generate the strength? If that were the case then you would be able to generate the same power even if you were suspended in the air and asked to hit a six. Surely you cannot hit a six in that position as you would not be able to use most of the muscles in your body to generate that much force. So train using mostly compound movements.

Know about one-day match in one minute.
Rules in one day cricket:-
- An ODI is contested by 2 teams of 11 players each.
- The Captain of the side winning the toss chooses to either bat or bowl (field) first.
- The team batting first sets the target score in a single innings. The innings lasts until the batting side is "all out" (i.e., 10 of the 11 batting players are "out") or all of the first side's allotted overs are used up.
- Each bowler is restricted to bowling a maximum of 10 overs (fewer in the case of rain-reduced matches and in any event generally no more than one fifth or 20% of the total overs per innings).
- The team batting second tries to score more than the target score in order to win the match. Similarly, the side bowling second tries to bowl out the second team for less than the target score in order to win.
- If the number of runs scored by both teams is equal when the second team loses all of its wickets or exhausts all its overs, then the game is declared a tie (regardless of the number of wickets lost by either team).
